• Install the channel drains in ascending numerical order, starting with the smallest part number. The part number sticker included on the channel drain indicates the segment number for both upstream and downstream installation
• The channel drain depth varies with the shallowest channel measuring 3.99" from the bottom of the grate to the flow line, and the deepest channel measuring 12.06" from the bottom of the grate to the flow line
• Interlocking tongue and groove joints for secure alignment and easy installation
• The fall in each sloped section of the Dura Slope channel is 0.34”. Each section comes with a built-in 0.7% slope. The neutral sections have flat bottoms
• For connection to 4" sewer and drain (SDR35) pipe, cut open the bottom drain outlet and insert NDS #DS126 Bottom Outlet Adapter. For 4-inch schedule 40 pipes, use NDS part #56-44 flexible coupling to connect the 4" pipe to the bottom drain of the channel. Ensure a secure connection by tightening the clamp
• Other-sized diameter pipes can be connected using the appropriate flexible coupling
• All Dura Slope Channels are included with a removable cover. It is recommended to put tape over the slots and screws prior to pouring concrete. After the concrete has been finished and cured, remove and discard the covers
• The screws included are used to secure the grates to the channel drain
• The maximum length run without the use of neutral sections is 96 feet. The use of one properly placed neutral section increases the maximum length run to 132 feet
• NDS DOES NOT recommend connecting more than 4 consecutive neutral segments together to allow for proper flow and prevent standing water in the channel
